HEADLINE:     Manhattan, New York City:  In a very desirable area of Manhattan, a Certified Physician Assistant is needed for a state-of-the-art Urgent Care Center.  100% outpatient. There is no call.  This is a full-time position.  However, there is also an option for part-time work.  The hours and work schedule will all be discussed.  $ Very competitive compensation package.  Employed opportunity.

LOCATION:  Manhattan, New York City:
  • This state-of-the-art urgent care outpatient center is located in a very desirable area of Manhattan. The Physician Assistant may live wherever she or he chooses and has many options. (See below for additional information regarding New York City.)

  • The desired candidate needs to be a Certified Physician Assistant with a few years of work experience.
  • The ideal candidate is someone who has urgent care, emergency medicine or primary care (i.e., internal medicine or family medicine) work experience.
  • Candidate will be required to see and treat patients of all ages.
  • She or he will need to read basic EKGs and X-Rays.
  • Competent and comfortable doing suturing and minor procedures.

  • A Certified Physician Assistant is needed to work at a state-of-the-art urgent care walk-in center.
  • This is a 100% outpatient opportunity. There is no call.
  • This beautiful facility is currently staffed with two full-time Physician Assistants, one full-time Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician, five to six part-time Emergency Medicine physicians, an X-Ray technician, a lab technician, and a medical assistant.
  • This excellent Physician Assistant opportunity is due to this urgent care center’s success.  They currently have two full-time Physician Assistants.  They realize that they need to meet the growing needs of their large patient population area that they service.
  • Hours and work schedule for the full-time position:   The new Physician Assistant’s hours and work schedule will all be discussed.  The employer is willing to be flexible.
  • If the new Physician Assistant is only available to work on a part-time basis, they are also flexible and willing to consider.
  • This state-of-the art urgent care walk-in center was established in February of 2011.  (They also have two additional urgent-care centers.)
  • This is an employed opportunity.
  • The starting base salary will be very competitive and negotiable. It will also be commensurate with the Physician Assistant’s work experience.
