Job Description


We are New York’s premier cosmetic dermatology practice and skin rejuvenation center, with ten years of operational excellence and two state-of-the-art locations in Manhattan, seeking an exceptionally talented, well-rounded Nurse Manage to oversee our nursing staff and clinical team as they provide the utmost care to our patients.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional leader with clinical expertise, is passionate about dermatology and skincare, possesses strong organizational skills, is an excellent communicator and collaborator, and brings an upbeat spirit and energy.


  • Oversees a team of approximately 12 RNs, LPNs and Medical Assistants including scheduling management and assigning nursing and staff to physician teams
  • Acts as coach and counsel to clinical team; trains staff on new devices and treatments
  • Works closely with physicians to provide overall clinical support; partners with other practice managers (e.g. admin, operations, etc.) to help practice run efficiently and smoothly
  • Maintains nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures for cosmetic and medical treatments; manages patient documentation, templates, consents and post-care instruction in EMR
  • Monitors inventory and orders supplies; oversees pathology reports as well as ordering of medications and narcotics
  • Assures quality of care by developing and interpreting UnionDerm’s standards of care; enforcing adherence to national and state regulations and guidelines
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by designing and implementing procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Provides information to patients by answering questions; triage and resolves post-care patient needs by fielding inquiries and promptly responding to patients
  • Ensures operation of aesthetic and medical devises and lasers; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques


  • 5+ years of relevant clinical experience as an RN
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of or interest in cosmetic dermatology
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
