Renew Recovery believes that new comprehensive approaches in the treatment of drug and alcohol addiction and other chronic psychiatric diseases are needed to deliver the outcomes that patients deserve. Our multi-disciplinary, out-patient approach of evidence-based treatment modalities was designed with just that in mind. Renew Recovery is seeking psychiatric professionals in both part and full-time capacities across all of our locations to assist us with our growth and expansion.
As a part of the Renew Recovery Medical Team, you will provide medical addiction treatment and psychiatric services to our patients in a manner consistent with our corporate mission, values, and policies. This position will allow you to work hand in hand with Renew Recovery treatment staff and management alike. We are seeking experienced individuals who are able to be creative and novel in how we deliver personalized care to our patients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (may include, but not limited to)
Work with a team of addiction counselors, medical and office staff to coordinate comprehensive and personalized care to the patients we serve.
- Work in collaboration with physicians and other members of the treatment team
- Obtain patient medical history; past and current treatment information
- Perform preventative health assessments
- Treat and manage patient health conditions
- Perform exams; assessmsnts via observation
- Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies
- Refer patients to external health providers and community resources
- Diagnose and treat patients
- Document in patient's EHR
- Monitor patient conditions
- Counsel and educate patients/family members/caretakers
- Remain current with healthcare knowledge; policies, rules, and regulations
- Maintain organizational and legal complaince throughout the clinic
REQUIREMENTS:
- For Psychiatric APRN:
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Experience treating Substance Use Disorders and co-occurring Psychiatric Morbidities
- DEA DATA Waiver (100 Patient Limit Preferred)
- For Psychiatrist MD:
- MD or DO in Psychiatry
- Experience treating Substance Use Disorders and co-occurring Psychiatric Morbidities
- DEA DATA Waiver(100 or 275 Patient Limit Preferred)
- For All:
- Active and Current Kentucky State License
- Possession of DEA Registration
- Ability to work independently
- Self-directed and flexible to meet the needs of administration, management, and patients.
- Excellent communication skills; oral and written
- Enthusiasm and compassion for our patients and their caretakers
- Knowledge of standard HIPAA compliance
- Knowledge of insurance networks; billing and coding knowledge; ICD-10, CPT
- Strong interpersonal and engagement skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and high volume environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to support the agency’s mission and philosophy, and demonstrate sensitivity to cultural diversity and workplace harmony
- Experience with KY Department of Transportation preferred
