Biomedical Electronics Technician:
- Serve as Electronics Technician (Biomedical) under the Chief, Medical Maintenance or the NCOIC. - Work performed involves evaluating and installing sophisticated/complex medical equipment and/or systems. - Interpret, select, adopt and apply many guidelines, precedents, and electronic principles related to an area of specialization, such as X-ray equipment, lab equipment, etc. - Identify and recommend practical solutions when determining medical equipment malfunctions and/or manufacturing defects. - Recommends use of substitutes or support equipment when the equipment requested is unavailable. - Experience which includes knowledge of technical and electronic methods, principles, requirements, work techniques and practices to install, evaluate, troubleshoot and test medial electrical equipment and systems (CT, MRI, Ultrasound Scanners, Patient Care Equipment (PCE), X-Ray, Radiography and High-End Electronics).
