Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed for full time position
-Our client is seeking a registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) who is willing to join our hospitalist team. Our hospital medicine practice consists of clinical care, teaching & education, and system and quality improvements. Our Client is partnered with SNF to provide transitional and primary care to those residents for whom the hospitalist is responsible. Thus, the ideal candidate for this position must have a varied acute care clinical background with an interest in working extensively with and training in skilled nursing, transitional care and/or geriatrics.
-Education/Training: Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
-Experience: Three years of experience is preferred but not required.
-License/Registration: Must hold licensure as either a registered professional nurse and be certified as a Nurse Practitioner, or as a Physician Assistant in the state of Washington.
-Must have or obtain certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
-Those applying should have current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration and current Prescriptive Authority approval by state of Washington.
The successful candidate should have the ability to relate and communicate well with the elderly, be able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers.
