Nurse ( Clinical/Emergency): As a Nurse (Clinical/Emergency), you will: - Serve as Triage Nurse, perform patient assessments and independently determine and assign priority of care based on patient's presenting symptoms and physical manifestations, using established protocols. - Provide professional nursing care and treatment to a wide variety of critically ill patients due to military training accidents, motor vehicle crashes, gunshot wounds, suicide attempts, cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, drug overdose, etc. - As Charge Nurse, perform delegated administrative duties to ensure appropriate staff supervision and make critical decisions about staffing issues to ensure safe, quality, and timely patient care. - Independently intervene using established protocols to prevent deterioration of the patient's condition or restore hemodynamic stability. - Coordinate appropriate patient admissions or transfers to and from the Emergency Department.
