Permanent / Full Time Radiological Specialties Ultrasound Technologist in Richmond, VA Permanent / Full Time - Certification - National Radiology Registry (ARRT) The primary responsibility of this position is to provide acceptable quality ultrasound procedures utilizing varieties of ultrasound equipment. Requirements: Graduate of approved 24 month program in radiologic technology. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) One year program to become registered or eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) High school graduate or equivalent Basic computer knowledge Regular Full Time Employment

Per Diem / Daily Contracting Radiological Specialties Ultrasound Technologist in Warrenton, VA Per Diem / Daily Contracting Days Summary: The Medical Imaging technologist works under general supervision in performing a variety of diagnostic exams and procedures, according to departmental protocol, as requested by the physician order. Positions the patient, and sets protocol factors with a high degree of competency on the imaging system. Maintains established organizational and department policies, procedures, objectives. Provides care of the highest quality while following mandated safety practices. In the execution of job duties, it is the universal expectation that all tasks are performed with a patient centered focus, while also seeking opportunities to continually improve core processes. Incumbent will be scheduled based on operational need, which may include but is not limited to: holidays, extended shifts, night and/or weekend shifts, standby and/or on-call. This job description is only meant to be a representative summary of the major responsibilities and accountabilities performed by the incumbents of this job. Employees may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description. Requirements: 1+ years of experience as technologist preferred. Current BLS.
