Per Diem / Daily Contracting Radiological Specialties Ultrasound Technologist in Petoskey, MI Per Diem / Daily Contracting Works under the leadership of the Lead Technologist and Radiology Manager to provide ultrasound services to patients of all ages. Responsible for performing and filming of procedures; assists with various invasive procedures; patient and employee safety; documentation, medical records, inventory management and scheduling. Education: Level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of an accredited ultrasound program. Registered by ARDMS or registry eligible. Must pass registry within two years of hire date. Must be CPR certified. Experience: Twelve months of experience in ultrasound with current skills in abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts and physics is preferred. Other Job Requirements: direct patient care, hand-eye coordination, standing for extended periods of time, walking, stair climbing, interpret info, communication skills, interact and cooperate with others, compassion and patience, mental concentration, math comprehension, problem solving, good vision, good hearing, sense of touch, high level short term memory, Part Time, Temp, or Per Diem Employment

Per Diem / Daily Contracting Radiological Specialties Ultrasound Technologist in Kalamazoo, MI Per Diem / Daily Contracting Rotating - Associates degree in related field - National and State Registrations required - 1-2 years related experience Weekends and holidays required per department's stand-by call rotation schedule. This position is located in the Cardiovascular Services Department. Under general supervision and according to established procedures, conducts peripheral vascular studies producing two dimensional ultrasonic recordings, color flow, and Doppler flow analyses of peripheral arteries, veins, and related structures for use by physician in diagnosis of heart and peripheral vascular disease. Registration (RVT) required or registry eligible - registration must be achieved within two years after hire. Two years of recent inpatient vascular experience is preferred. BLS required within six months after hire. A combination of college level courses and extensive technical training/experience in vascular anatomy and disease that is equivalent to that normally acquired in the first two years of college and six to twelve months of on the job training. Excellent customer service and communication skills required. Ability to work flexible/variable schedule. Self motivated individual who works well independently.
