Per Diem / Daily Contracting Radiological Specialties Ultrasound Technologist in New Albany, IN Per Diem / Daily Contracting Days - Related course work is required - Certification Required - Experience is preferred Performs diagnostic medical ultrasound exams and other related procedures. Completion of a two year recognized AMA or equivalent allied health training program. Minimum of 12 months full time clinical ultrasound experience as described by the ARDMS guidelines. CPR certification required. Must be proficient in all clinical skills related to diagnostic ultrasound as described in the ultrasound department performance inventory. Computer proficiency required. Part Time, Temp, or Per Diem Employment

Permanent / Full Time Radiological Specialties Ultrasound Technologist in Indianapolis, IN Permanent / Full Time Days Technical Certificate Duties: Perform Diagnostic Ultrasound exams and procedures according to physician orders; utilize the RIS and PACS systems effectively; assist with teaching students of the Radiologic Technology School/Program Experience: Minimum one (1) year training in Ultrasound for all body parts and procedures required. Minimum one (1) year work experience preferred. Vascular experience preferred. RVT a plus. Education: Associate degree or Certificate from an accredited training program required. License/Certification: ARDMS Registration or eligible. ARDMS registration required if beyond two years of completion of Utrasound training. CPR Certification required. Skills: Exceptional communication and technical skills; takes initiative; team player; detail oriented; patient focused; responsible and dependable; possess strong knowledge of sterile technique; ability to be flexible with hours worked; ability to work independently without direct supervision or assistance from other US Techs. Additional Information: Includes Call Rotation. ARDMS Registration required within six (6) months of hire. Regular Full Time Employment
