Per Diem / Daily Contracting Radiological Specialties Ultrasound Technologist in Boca Raton, FL Per Diem / Daily Contracting The Imaging Professional is accountable for the delivery of skilled professional patient care based on: Recognized national standards of practice; Boca Raton Community Hospital's Policies and Procedures; In accordance with the Four Cornerstones. Provides a consistent, high level of patient care Adheres to Imaging Services Department Policies and Procedures Ability to communicate information verbally and in writing with all staff members, physicians, and patients Demonstrates through example, the attitudes and goals of the department with consistent focus on the Four Cornerstones Demonstrates teamwork throughout the hospital Monitors and ensures equipment performance to specification Assists supervisor in maintaining an adequate level of supplies required for patient care Ensures that relevant exam information is captured at time of exam Assists radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence Demonstrates accountability by attending departmental meetings Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule to meet unpredictable demands of the department's operation Demonstrates Service Recovery efforts in addressing patient's complaints according to Hospital policy Serves as a resource person to patients, coworkers, radiologists, and any other customer PC Sonographer: 1. Demonstrated ability to perform all ultrasound procedures as outlined in the procedure manual 2. Demonstrated ability to critique any routine scan for proper scanning technique and image quality 3. Demonstrated working knowledge of all equipment in the Hospital, Women's Center, and Imaging Center ultrasound departments 4. In accordance with the ACR requirements the sonographer is required to obtain RDMS status in ABD/OB within 2 years of school graduation. Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent certification from accredited technical school Certificates, Licenses, Registrations and other Credentials: Registry eligible status and bi-annual BLS: Part Time, Temp, or Per Diem Employment

Per Diem / Daily Contracting Radiological Specialties Ultrasound Technologist in Jupiter, FL Per Diem / Daily Contracting Rotating We are Jupiter Medical Center and we are GROWING AND HIRING!! We currently have an opportunity available for an UltraSound Tech. The Sonographer manages and performs all abdominal, gynecological, obstetrical, small parts, peripheral vascular and cerebrovascular ultrasound examinations. The sonographer has an excellent comprehension and knowledge of anatomy and disease and can communicate this to the Radiologist. The Sonographer is trained in the appropriate use of color Doppler techniques and other advanced imaging techniques. The Sonographer is capable of working independently to obtain all necessary clinical information for the Radiologist to make a diagnosis. Qualified applicants must have 2-3 years experiene as an Ultrasound Tech within an inpatient imaging department. Part Time, Temp, or Per Diem Employment

Makes professional, technical assessment of image quality and submits for medical interpretation only those completed studies which meet or exceed established standards. Educational & Experience Requirements: Graduate of AMA or AOA approved school of Radiography, Nuclear Medicine or Ultrasound. At least two (2) years of Imaging experience in radiography, Ultrasound or Nuclear Medicine is necessary. At least one (1) year of experience in processor monitoring and quality control is necessary. 1. Licensure: N/A, no state license needed.
2. Certification: RDCS is preferred.
3. Equipment: They have four Phillips machines that they use.
4. Procedures: You will be performing regular echos and TEE's. There will be no stress echos for travelers. You will see no more than seven patients per technologist per day.
5. Schedule: You will be working the day shift Monday through Friday with no Call.
