Permanent / Full Time Rehabilitation Specialties Speech Pathologist (SLP) in Baltimore, MD Permanent / Full Time Days Job Description: Provides therapeutic care including assessment, planning, and implementation of treatment of patients who have been referred by a physician for rehabilitative care. Conducts therapeutic activities. Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Licensed to practice Speech Therapy in the State of Maryland. Experience: None Skills: Verbal and written communication. Physical Requirements: Visual acuity; manual dexterity and physical mobility; hear and orally communicate. Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs). Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients; prolonged standing/walking; intermittent exertion when performing treatments. Permanent / Full Time Rehabilitation Specialties Speech Pathologist (SLP) in Salisbury, MD Permanent / Full Time Days Performs duties and conducts interpersonal relationships in a manner designed to project a positive image of the department and the Medical Center. Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of disorders affecting speech, language, voice, swallow and cognitive-communicative function for inpatient and outpatient populations. The Speech- Language Pathologist is a licensed professional who is responsible and accountable for the planning, implementation and delivery of speech pathology services to ensure positive patient outcomes.MS/MA Degree from an accredited university in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders. Holds a certificate of clinical competency in the area of Speech Language Pathology or CFY eligible. Holds a license in good-standing from the State of Maryland or is eligible for same. At least one (1) year clinical experience in an acute care setting (will consider exceptional CFY). Regular Full Time Employment
