Permanent / Full Time Rehabilitation Specialties Speech Pathologist (SLP) in Sioux City, IA Permanent / Full Time Days - BCLS Required Under limited supervision, provides services to identify, remediate, rehabilitate, and educate individuals who have cognitive, communication and/or swallowing disorders. Encompasses evaluation, treatment, and consultation with the goal being to maximize functional independence. Provides direct or indirect patient care and educational programs to contracting agencies. Adheres to the principles of Service Excellence and the philosophy and mission of Mercy in all aspects of job performance. Qualifications: 1. Graduate of a Speech/Language Pathology program from an accredited ASHA PSB school. Master’s Degree required. Must pass ASHA certification examination and be eligible for CFY or hold CCC-SLP. 2. Licensure as a Speech/Language Pathologist by the State of Iowa. 3. Typically entry level for applicants with zero to five years of recent clinical experience. 4. BCLS certification required. 5. Must be able to demonstrate achievement of Staff Speech Pathologist duties and responsibilities within the first six months of employment. Regular Full Time Employment
