Permanent / Full Time Rehabilitation Specialties Speech Pathologist (SLP) in Phoenix, AZ Permanent / Full Time Days Eight Hour Join us at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center as we are seeking full-time, part-time, and On-Call Speech Language Pathologists in different service areas (Acute Care, Inpatient Neurorehabilitation and Outpatient Rehabilitation) to evaluate patients with complex neurological, surgical, trauma/orthopedic, medical and cardiopulmonary diagnoses. We administer treatment and coordinate therapy services to a wide variety of patients within a Level I Trauma Center. These positions demonstrate the clinical competence and knowledge necessary to provide treatment that is appropriate to the age and diagnosis of the population served (neonate geriatric). They must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients status. They must interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the units departmental policies and procedures. Basic Education Masters Degree, AZ State licensure Basic Experience 6 months related; Basic Field-of-Expertise (if applicable) Masters Degree in speech therapy from an accredited university approved by ASHA Part Time, Temp, or Per Diem Employment
