Permanent / Full Time Allied Respiratory Therapy Technician in West Columbia, SC Permanent / Full Time Days - Associates Degree - Respiratory Therapy Proficient in the use of oxygen croup masks, tents, cannulae, etc., administers therapeutic gases to patients. Administers IPPB therapy and other nebulizers to administer gases or drugs in aerosolized mist. Evaluates therapy upon request and evaluates and maintains patients on continuous ventilation. Sets up room humidifiers and checks operating equipment. Conducts bedside spirometry and draws arterial blood specimens form patients and tests samples on analysis machine. Performs chest physiotherapy and suctioning as required by department procedures. Qualifications: Completion of at least a two (2) year Associate Degree AMA approved program for Respiratory Therapy, or a CRTT who has at least met the requirements to participate in the registry examination and has applied to take the exam. Must have a current South Carolina License to practice Respiratory Care. Regular Full Time Employment
