Permanent / Full Time RN Rehabilitation in Chicago, IL Permanent / Full Time Days JOB SUMMARY Effectively delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. JOB QUALIFICATIONS 1. Registered Nurse with current Illinois license, BSN preferred 2. CPR certification 3. One year experience in acute or sub-acute rehabilitation setting. 4. Demonstrated organization and time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks 5. Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service delivery skills 6. Excellent experience leading and facilitating a wide variety of diverse patient groups required 7. Ability to assess needs, identify problems, explore alternatives and implement solutions. 8. Demonstrated ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with hospital policy and governmental regulations. 9. Knowledge of basic computer operations and use of word processing software 10. Ability to use audio/visual equipment, telephone and other clinical equipment for patient teaching. Essential Physical Job Functions Ability to carry and lift up to 20 pounds, push/pull up to 30 pounds of force, transfer and position patients in different environments, and ability to climb stairs. Frequent sitting/standing/walking, and able to assume a full squatting position. Able to take and interpret vital signs, respond appropriately during emergency situations, and communicate clearly and effectively with a varied population. Permanent / Full Time RN Rehabilitation in Springfield, IL Permanent / Full Time Rotating 3B is an inpatient acute rehabilitation unit with mostly adult clients. It is an interdisciplinary department which includes PT, OT, Speech Pathology, Social Services and Pastoral Care. Responsible for the care of a designated group of patients in a structured setting through the appropriate utilization of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development relative to patients served and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to their age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies, procedures, and standards of care. Participates in research when appropriate and incorporates research findings into clinical practice. Requirements for this position include: license as RN in State of Illinois and current CPR certification. New grads will be considered. Please note that if you are hired for a Registered Nurse position, you will be scheduled to attend our Central Nursing Orientation. An HR Representative will discuss this with you.
