TN license or COMPACT state (4 weeks)
CPR and PALS required; NRP or NALS a plus.
225 bed Children's Hospital
PICU is a 20-bed unit that cares for more than 1,600 critically ill children annually.
Advanced technologies include high frequency oscillatory ventilation, nitric oxide and heliox therapies as well as Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).

The region's only fully staffed pediatric Emergency Department serves more than 70,000 sick and injured children making us one of the Top 10 Busiest Pediatric Emergency Departments in the United States. Designated by the State of Tennessee as a Comprehensive Regional Pediatric Center (CRPC). The CRPC designation meets guidelines similar to those of an Adult Level 1 Trauma Center.
