1. Certifications: ARRT (R) and valid BLS are required.
2. Licensure: NE state license required. This license traditionally takes less than two weeks to obtain and costs $42.00.
3. Experience: A minimum of six months of general x-ray experience is required. Candidates with a minimum of one to two years of x-ray experience will be considered first. All candidates should have experience working in and be comfortable working in the OR, ER, and portable exams. If a candidate has experience doing limited amounts of IR that is a bonus, but is not required.
4. Equipment/Procedures: You will be using GE and Phillips equipment. You will also use OEC C-Arms working mostly in the main x-ray department. You will also have to rotate into the OR. This department just completed a conversion to CR and DR,
5. Environment: Will be working with at least two other technologists and expected to perform full scope of x-ray procedures. You will traditionally work Monday through Friday with rotating weekend coverage. The shift can be a combination of day and evening hours. They need someone who is flexible. The main need is on the evening shift.
