Permanent / Full Time Radiological Specialties CT Technologist in San Antonio, TX Permanent / Full Time Evenings - BLS Healthcare Provider Required - Must maintain current Texas State Registration EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. EXPERIENCE: 0-1 year with competency in components of computerized tomography. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Possession of a current registry or registry eligible American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), in Radiology and C.T. and possession of current Texas State registration. Must have ARRT within one year post graduation of accredited school. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have eye/hand/foot coordination, finger/fine dexterity and be able to perform repetitive activity. Must be capable of transferring-vertical/horizontal, lifting/carrying greater than 35 pounds with assistance, and be able to push/pull, climb, stoop, kneel, walk, sit, crouch/squat, flex/position/twist, stand, hold, and reach. SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. Provides quality care to patients of all age groups; from newborn to elderly, according to department standards. Regular Full Time Employment
