Permanent / Full Time Radiological Specialties CT Technologist in Boca Raton, FL Permanent / Full Time Days Provides a consistent, high level of patient care Adheres to Imaging Services Department Policies and Procedures Ability to communicate information verbally and in writing with all staff members, physicians, and patients Demonstrates through example, the attitudes and goals of the department with consistent focus on the Four Cornerstones Demonstrates teamwork throughout the hospital Monitors and ensures equipment performance to specification Assists supervisor in maintaining an adequate level of supplies required for patient care Ensures that relevant exam information is captured at time of exam Assists radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence Demonstrates accountability by attending departmental meetings Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule to meet unpredictable demands of the departments operation Demonstrates Service Recovery efforts in addressing patients complaints according to Hospital policy Serves as a resource person to patients, coworkers, radiologists, and any other customer Demonstrate ability to perform all CT procedures as outlined in the procedure manual Demonstrate ability to adhere to standards of radiation protection Demonstrate ability to critique any scan for proper scanning technique and image quality Qualifications for the positions listed below require: 1. Completed competency in starting and maintaining IVs 2. High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent 3. Must be a diplomat of an accredited School 4. Must possess ARRT and maintain said credentials with each renewal biennium 5. Must be licensed as a General Radiographer by the State of Florida and maintain said credentials with each renewal biennium 6. Must be licensed bi?annually in BCLS Regular Full Time Employment
