Per Diem / Daily Contracting RN Behavior Medicine in Edmonds, WA Per Diem / Daily Contracting Nights - Associate Degree Required - Previous experience preferred. This registered professional nurse, is responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating and coordinating all nursing care through utilization of the nursing process and for meeting the unit standards of nursing practice. Assesses, treats and cares for patients in a variety of age groups which may include neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric. Qualifications include completion of a recognized program to obtain an RN license in the State of Washington. Experience: Recent experience in an acute care facility preferred, or related work experience License/Certification: Valid or eligible for Washington State Registered Nurse License and Basic Life Support certification Skills: Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures in the assessment, treatment and care of patient in a variety of age groups which may include neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and or geriatric. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with patients, families, staff and medical professionals. Sufficient skills and attributes required to fulfill the essential job functions as defined under accountabilities for a specific area or unit. Knowledge of and ability to apply universal safety precautions and infection control procedures. Demonstrated ability to perform the physical demands of the position, as well as the essential job functions. Part Time, Temp, or Per Diem Employment
