Physician Assistant - Behavioral Health Partial Programs

Westwood Lodge Hospital located in the greater Boston area is recruiting a Physician Assistant for a position with the Adult and Adolescent Partial Hospital Programs. This is a full time position Monday through Friday no weekends and no call.

Working with a dynamic leadership team the scope of practice of the Physician Assistant will include evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in hospital programs. In particular, the treatments offered consist of insight, cognitive and supportive psychotherapy, behavioral interventions, health teaching, case management, discharge planning, and the prescribing of medication. The PA will conduct history and physical screenings for patients in the partial program; participate in treatment team meetings; prescribe medication and utilize the nursing process to provide quality patient care to patients. They are responsible for the medication and nursing care plans as needed in conjunction with Program Director and treatment goals.

The Physician Assistant will clinically report to the programs Medical Director a Board Certified Psychiatrist. Candidates must hold licensure as a Physician Assistant. A very competitive compensation and benefits package will be offered
