    Detailed Description

    Relocation assistance consists of potentially 3k if inside Michigan and 5k if outside of Michigan.

    Job Summary:

    Plans, administers and manages the operation of physical, occupational, speech therapies and specialty programs. Plans, administers and manages the operation of sports medicine, prevention, and recreational therapies. The Manager reports to the Director of Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine Services. This job is responsible for the assigned programs and locations and works collaboratively with the director to assure alignment of services within the Rehab Continuum.

    Job Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology. Licensed or registered in the state of Michigan. Master's degree in Management, MBA, or Healthcare/Public Administration preferred. Five or more years of progressively responsible management experience in the field of rehabilitation or comparable field.

    NOTE:

    Pediatric rehab experience required and management experience strongly preferred. Position requires that time be split between pediatric clinical care (40%) and Pediatric Rehab manager (60%).

    Other:

    Ability to analyze complex or diverse information. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, and develop alternative solutions. Ability to develop project plans, coordinate project work, and complete projects on time and within budget. Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations. Ability to solve conflict. Ability to listen to others and maintain confidentiality. Ability to make group presentations. Ability to cope with stressful situations and maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
