Per Diem / Daily Contracting Pharmacy Pharmacy Technician in Melrose, MA Per Diem / Daily Contracting Days Under the supervision of the pharmacist, assists with the functioning of the unit-dose distribution system, assists with the preparation of intravenous admixtures and delivery of medication to patient units. Selects medication for Pyxis Med station replenishment accurately (as determined by QA check) and with reasonable speed. Responsible for assisting with ordering, receiving and delivery of medication and supplies. Responsible for inspection of assigned medication storage areas throughout the hospital. Also responsible for assisting with billing. National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred EDUCATION: High School graduate or the equivalent or currently enrolled in a program that awards such a degree or certficate.
