MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. 2. Graduate of an ACCP accredited school/college of pharmacy is required. 3. Eligible or currently licensed in the State of Maine. 4. Work experience as a patient care pharmacist involved in patient monitoring and drug therapy review is preferred. 5. Experience in an organized healthcare setting such as a hospital or home infusion pharmacy is preferred. 6. Analytical skills necessary to identify and resolve problems related to drug therapy. 7. The Pharmacy Practice Resident completes rotations with clinical pharmacy specialists and decentralized pharmacists with responsibilities including pharmacokinetic monitoring, responding to drug information requests, participating in medication utilization evaluations, and developing patient care plans.
