Permanent / Full Time Allied EMT / Paramedic in Traverse City, MI Permanent / Full Time Nights The schedule for this position is three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school education or GED equivalent. Minimum one-year emergency/urgent care experience. Maintains BCLS certification. PREFERRED QUALITIES: EMT licensure. Required Skills include: The ability to evaluate the criticality of patient needs Superior customer relation skills Effective verbal and written communication Legible handwriting/printing An Emergency Technician will be responsible for: Direct patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse Assisting other health care professionals with procedures Recognizing and reporting pertinent changes in health care status of patients to a registered nurse Observing, recording and reporting pertinent information accurately and promptly Assisting patients with comfort measures Communication with families concerning patients and providing support Utilizing standard precautions and applying infection control procedures employing medical asepsis principles Regular Full Time Employment
