Accurately documents all nursing care data related to patient assessments, patient needs, nursing interventions, and patient outcomes. Supports the unit monitoring and evaluation process to improve patient outcomes. Provides direct patient care utilizing aseptic principles to assure a safe environment. Functions as operator/user of surgery equipment/instruments /supplies. Maintains timely, concise and open communication with entire O.R. team and Dept. Leader. Assists with transportation of patients to and from surgery. Provides direct assistance to scrub person and physicians. Assumes nursing responsibility for assigned operating room and facilitates flow of surgery schedule, communicating changes, pertinent information as appropriate to health care team. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of California. CNOR preferred. AHA Healthcare Provider or Red Cross Professional CPR certification. Demonstrates knowledge and competence in delivering patient care. Demonstrates professionalism by appearance, actions, self-development, and guest relations. Uses interpersonal skills that convey a positive and supportive attitude. Manages time effectively. Flexibility in work schedule. Pior OR scrub and circulate experience required. Regular Full Time Employment
