Permanent / Full Time Allied Occupational Therapist in Phoenix, AZ Permanent / Full Time Days - Bachelors degree is required - Certification Required - Current BCLS/CPR Certification Required - 1-2 years experience is required An Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing quality care to a full caseload of patients receiving occupational therapy. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a positive rapport within the treatment team and the OT Department, program development, and possible supervision of student interns. He/She is responsible for treating pediatrics that does not require any professional specialty certifications to address their treatment needs. Completes, assesses patient's needs prior to establishing the plan of care. Provides direct patient care on a daily basis or as indicated by patient need/condition and in the case of a staffing shortage, according to established priority guidelines. Assesses patient's progress and adjusts treatment plan as indicated. Consults with appropriate medical personnel regarding patient's needs, status, and discharge plans. Maintains accurate and current documentation in patient's medical record. Provides instruction and teaching of therapeutic procedures and ongoing routine care as needed. Maintains accurate patient treatment records and completes billing from billing sheets according to department billing procedures and within established timeframes. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy and current state licensure 1 - 2 years of experience Current BCLS Regular Full Time Employment

Treatments are one-on-one for hour time blocks, and are designed to facilitate the achievement of treatment and team-based goals. Experience in Occupational Therapy is preferred, and Outpatient or similar experience is required for this full-time position in an expanding clinic.
