The Family Nurse Practitioner provides primary health care to individuals and families in all aspects and developmental stages. This includes the management of health problems and promotion of optimal health.

Practice Environment: Staff of 60 employees, six board certified family practice physicians, two certified nurse midwifes, two nurse practitioners, and five mental and behavioral health providers.

Practice Schedule: 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday; 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Family Nurse Practitioners scheduled for one evening each week.

Central Ohio hospital employment: Enterprise Medical Service

There are currently two full time OB providers in the community. In addition, the hospital is bringing in a locums coverage each weekend for call coverage. When a new full time physician is in place, the call will be shared on a 1 in 2 rotation during the week, and 1 in 3 on weekends. There are no FPs doing deliveries in this community. OB unit has 4 LDRP rooms, 6 private antepartum and postpartum rooms, C section room, full nursing staff, 24/7 Anesthesiology service, and central monitoring with remote access to physicians office.
