Southwest KRC.0508.1918.01: Rural Health Education & Services

KRC.0508.1918.01 Nurse Practitioner for 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with Rural Health Clinic and Long-term Care Unit. Nurse Practitioner will provide care within the clinic and take ER call. Call coverage is to be determined, but will be at least 8 days per month/first call. Two board certified physicians currently provide care at the clinic and hospital. Services provided by the hospital include: diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, laboratory, 24-hour emergency room department, home health, specialty clinic services, rural health services, cardiac rehab, nuclear medicine, DME, and surgical capability exists for patients requiring this service. Please refer to position number KRC.0508.1918.01.

Salary is competitive and negotiable with a full benefit package, which includes 3 weeks paid vacation, relocation, CME allowance and possible loan repayment.

This rural, family-oriented town is located in Southwest Kansas. It is within driving distance of Liberal, Kansas and Amarillo, Texas. The community offers small town life with excellent highways to other larger cities. It is the county seat and the county boasts natural gas and agricultural industries, complemented by the County Development Corporation and an active Chamber of Commerce.

The county's cultural, social and recreational facilities offer a friendly, family-oriented life-style. Five schools serve the county. Community colleges are located nearby in Liberal and Garden City.

The County Airport provides a paved, 5000 foot runway which can accommodate planes up to small jets. The community enjoys all four seasons with an excellent golf course, organized sports for children, and easy access to the mountains of Colorado for skiing or hiking.

Northwest KRC.0509.1602.04: Rural Health Education & Services

KRC.0509.1602.04 Nurse Practitioner opportunity available in a 25 bed critical access hospital. The clinic, which is located behind the hospital, is a few years old with state-of-the-art equipment. Call is 1:4. Current staff includes two physicians, and a physician assistant. Hospital services include acute care, ER, minor surgery, OB, EECP, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech. Salary range is $75,000-$80,000 and offers a production bonus. Hospital is in a HPSA designated area and participates in the NHSC loan repayment program. Benefits include: four weeks of paid time off (CME and vacation), retirement, life, disability, relocation, CME allowance, and loan repayment.

North Central KRC.0709.1314.02: Rural Health Education & Services

KRC.0709.1314.01 Nurse Practitioner needed for Family Practice Clinic in a great community. Admitting critical access hospital offers radiology, lab, ER, and full rehab services including PT, OT, cardiac, respiratory, and speech. This clinic has two satellite clinics. Current staffing includes 7 physicians, 2 PAs, and 2 NPs. The position includes clinic visits, and hospital/ER coverage. Daytime and night-time ER call coverage is required. Benefits include 15 days PTO, Health insurance, CME allowance, professional liability insurance, professional memberships, 401K after 1 year. Salary is very competitive with a contract duration of 1 year.

KRC.1109.0311.05 Nurse Practitioner position available for an experienced NP in a well-established and very busy family medicine practice. The schedule is 4.5 days per week. There are currently four family physicians and one mid-level on staff. There is no call coverage for this position. The salary range is $60,000 - $70,000 plus a production bonus with a one-year contract. KRC.0509.0708.08 Nurse Practitioner position available for a community health clinic with 3 satellite clinics. This great team currently includes 6 physicians, 3 PAs, and 1 ARNP. Patient caseload consists of birth to geriatric. Nurse Practitioner will provide professional medical services to compliment the delivery of primary healthcare services at the clinic, working under the guidance of the medical director and supervising physician.

Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm. There is no call or weekend coverage. Clinic is located on a campus of a 420- bed full service hospital. Prefer expereinced NP with a background in pediatrics. Salary range is competitve and will be based on experience. Benefits include loan repayment, CME allowence, medical, dental, life insurance. KRC.0909.2101.07 Nurse Practitioner opportunity available in a community health center. This position will focus on primary care and will perform OB work. Currently, there is 1 physician, 1 full-time ARNP, and 4 part-time ARNP's. There is no call coverage for this position. ARNP will be expected to work with the Medical Director and other medical staff to provide direct patient care to a variety of people at the clinic between the hours of 8a-5pm. Salary is $60,000 - $65,000 and includes loan repayment, relocation, CME allowance, paid vacation, and a comprehensive employee benefits package.

The admitting hospital is located nearby and offers surgery center, cancer center, maternal center, acute care, and wound care.

KRC.0909.1604.05 A new position is available for a Nurse Practitioner to join a well established, busy family practice rural health clinic. ARNP's have the opportunity to see varied diagnoses of all ages. Come and work with another experienced ARNP and physician providing healthcare services to patients in the area. The clinic is owned by a 69-bed acute care facility with a 51-bed short-term and long-term care facility, home health agency, rural health clinics and specialty physician clinics. KRC.1009.2303.07 Nurse Practitioner opportunity available at this federally qualified health center. Currently on staff is one physician and one nurse practitioner. ARNP would work a 36-hour work week with one half-day off per week for taking call; clinic hours Mon., Tues., Wed. & Fri. 8-12 and 1-5p; Thurs. 8-7p; 1 hour lunch break daily, work late on Thurs. 1:3. This is a great opportunity to work in a true collaborative practice with the Medical Director.

KRC.0110.1903.06 Nurse Practitioner needed for rural health clinic attached to a 25-bed critical access hospital. ARNP's are scheduled for approximately 4 ten hour days Monday-Friday at the RHC. One week per month NP's work 4 nine hour days Monday-Friday with a four hour shift on Saturday morning. Availability and flexibility with the schedule are extremely important for this position. There is NO CALL COVERAGE for this position. Currently on staff are 3 physicians and 1 additional ARNP. The salary is negotiable and competitive. KRC.1209.1206.01 Nurse Practitioner - Primary care safety net clinic looking to add a great NP to their team. Currently on staff is one RN, a part-time NP, and a volunteer medical director. This clinic is seeking full or part-time NP's to provide primary care services. The clinic provides health care services to low-income adults who are without health insurance. Under the direction of the medical director, the NP is responsible for providing primary medical care, both acute and chronic, for patients in the ambulatory setting of the clinic with appropriate referrals to physicians and other allied health care professionals when indicated. The NP will provide quality, cost effective, and compassionate medical care and treatment to the patient population, with care being as comprehensive and ongoing as possible within the limitations of the clinic. Salary range is $62,000-$68,000 and is negotiable. Benefits include PTO, health, dental vision, AD&D, life, 403B, defined contribution savings plan, and possible loan repayment.
