Provides comprehensive care for psychiatric patients based upon the multi-disciplinary treatment plan and the mental, emotional and physical needs of the patient and provides assessment of acute and non-acute clinical problems and toxicity's as they relate to a patient's psychiatric condition. Provide follow-up care for enrollees who do not have a prior relationship with a psychiatric prescriber. Document assessments and recommendations on consultation forms, nursing notes, progress notes and other forms as appropriate. Maintain records and caseload documentation as required. Function as therapist, co-therapist and/or participant in group sessions with patients. Prescribe medications according to accepted standards of psychiatric practice.

GA - Oncology NP or PA Need in Atlanta, GA Area. Our associate has an Oncology group practice in Atlanta, GA area that is seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to add to their team of health care providers. Experience is required. This is a fast paced office of nurses and staff located in a brand new state of the art office. The qualified candidate will be used to working their own schedule but also along side the MD's. They must have excellent communication and team work skills. This job also requires that the NP or PA assist with paperwork or assisting nurses with chemotherapy if needed. The NP or PA is also responsible for approving chemotherapy orders, so knowledge of current chemotherapy regimens is needed.
