This position functions as the expert clinician. Will develop unit training programs and processes, provide oversight of unit preceptorship program, and research best practice when identifying areas for improvement. Join us in our state-of-the-art, 28-bed (high census 22-24) Adult Critical Care Unit that offers a sophisticated, broad range of practice including: hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, intraaortic balloon counterpulsation, continuous renal replacement therapy, ventricular assist devices, temporary pacemakers, and intracranial pressure monitoring. CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST - ICU: Adult Critical Care - Full-time, Non-Exempt, Day Shift - Salary Range is $36.42 to $58.90, DOE - Relocation Assistance - Sign-On Bonus - Tuition Reimbursement - Comprehensive Benefits - 403(b) and Retirement Plan REQUIREMENTS: Successful applicants will possess at least five (5) years recent RN experience in the area of specialty (adult critical care). Anchorage, Alaska -- Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking an outstanding Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. Join a team of NNPs who serve as liaisons between the nursing and medical staff at the medical center and the state's only children's hospital, The Children's Hospital at Providence (TCHAP). Excellent opportunity to manage patient care in the delivery room, on transport flights, and within the hospital in our 44-bed Level III NICU. TCHAP also has a 9-bed PICU capable of high acuity care, a 17-bed pediatric unit, a 5-chair pediatric infusion center, and a pediatric sub-specialty clinic including Peds GI and Peds Surgery. Our NNPs have the opportunity to receive training and to be involved in education, consultation and research. Desirable schedule (three 12-hour shifts per week), excellent salary and benefits.
