This position allows registration into the Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) class for Hearthstone - a long term care facility located in Medford (and part of Asante Health System). No previous experience is required. Students will be expected to complete one year as a CNA at Hearthstone before being eligible to apply for another position within Asante. With a one year commitment to Hearthstone, there is no cost for the class. Class is expected to start November 10. This Position Requires: Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association. BLS must be obtained before the start of the class. There is a cost for the BLS class (typically about $40). Information about enrolling in a BLS class will be provided after interview.
