Permanent / Full Time Medical Laboratory Personnel Medical Technologist in San Antonio, TX Permanent / Full Time Evenings EDUCATION: Associates Degree from an approved college or university and be a graduate of an accredited school of medical laboratory technicians, or equivalent. Meets CLIA requirements for Testing Personnel. EXPERIENCE: None LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Certified (registered) or registry-eligible in accordance with an approved certifying agency., e.g. ASCP,NCA, AMT or equivalent. Registry eligible personnel must become certified within 1 year from date of hire. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have eye/hand/foot coordination, finger/fine dexterity and be able to handle/grip/squeeze and perform repetitive activity. Must be capable of transferring-vertical/horizontal, lifting/carrying 20 pounds and be able to push/pull, climb, stoop/bend, kneel, walk, sit, crouch/squat, flex/position/twist, stand, hold, and reach. SUMMARY: Under the directions of the Medical Directors and management staff, provides state of the art laboratory specimen testing, including phlebotomy, from neonates to geriatric patients ensuring patient safety.
