Our Trauma Center is Arizona's only Level 1 center verified by the American College of Surgeons and our nine critical care units serve more than 60,000 patients a year. The hospital also offers high-risk obstetrical and neonatal intensive care as well as adult and cardiovascular care programs. St. Joseph's is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare, while helping the underserved through clinics, community grants and outreach programs. The Couplet Care area consists of a 44-bed unit that provides assessment, preventive care and treatment for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of postpartum mothers and their babies. Additionally, our staff provides care to newborns who require higher levels of observation and monitoring in our 12-bed Level II Continuing Care Nursery. Nurse-to patient-ratios vary from 1:6-8 for routine care and 1:3-4 for newborns who require continuing care. Join us now as we are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) for both our day and night shifts to coordinate, supervise and implement patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge and evidence-based practice. The Registered Nurse is expected to practice autonomously, consistent with professional standards, Nurse Practice Act and hospital job description. Minimum Requirements: - AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State. Permanent / Full Time RN Post Partum in Goodyear, AZ Permanent / Full Time Nights Current RN AZ license, one or more years of recent L&D delivery and newborn nursery experience, successful completion of NRP within 6 months of hire, current BCLS, fetal monitoring cert preferred, crossed trained in L&D or postpartum. Graduate from a Nursing School. BSN and specialty certification preferred. Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Position renders individualized, age specific and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs. Acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating and utilizing independent judgement in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care. May at times be asked to be in charge for a shift. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above average pressure. Excellent customer service skills. Must have basic computer skills. Regular Full Time Employment

Permanent / Full Time RN Post Partum in Phoenix, AZ Permanent / Full Time Days -Bachelors degree is preferred Provides professional skilled nursing care for critical care, med/surg, adolescents, maternal/child or geriatric patients in collaboration with physicians and other disciplines. Performs all aspects of patient care, including but not limited to: patient assessment, medication administration, identifying nursing problems, plans care, provides or delegates care according to MIHS policies, functions as a client advocate and educator, completes and processes all required documentation, supervises ancillary personnel as directed, participates in team building and quality improvement activities. Qualifications: Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing, preferably BSN. Must posses a valid AZ RN license and be in good standing. BLS certification is required. ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification may be required. Ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must. Bilingual is preferred. Must have excellent communication, time management and customer service skills. Computer knowledge with DOS and windows based systems is a plus. ~CB~ Regular Full Time Employment
