Per Diem / Daily Contracting LVN/LPN Medical / Surgical in Rolla, MO Per Diem / Daily Contracting Nights - Graduate of accredited school related to discipline - Licensure Required - Experience is preferred Under the direction of an RN, the LPN assists in the delivery of nursing care and in patient teaching assignments. The LPN is required to administer medications, IVs document care and function as a team leader at times. Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program and approved IV Therapy course. LPNs may obtain IV certification within 6 months of employment. Experience: One year preferred but not required. Previous health care experience a plus. Licensure, Registration, Certification: Current Missouri licensure. Mental/Physical Requirements: Considerable mental concentration required. Heavy lifting, turning activities and nearly constant walking required. Standing, turning, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, twisting, and reaching. Working Conditions: Frequent exposure to infectious disease, radiation, anti-neoplastic agents, and hostile persons at times. Frequent exposure to communicable disease via blood and other body fluids. Minimal physical discomfort. Part Time, Temp, or Per Diem Employment
