Description *** Women & Children Service - Labor & Delivery ** The staff RN is a professional caregiver who is responsible for designated patients for a specified time frame. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process, the environment and other health care resources to meet the specialized age-appropriate physical, emotional and spiritual needs of all ages of patient populations assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Certifications / Licenses:
Current state Registered Nurse license, or eligible for immediate state license Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification
About us: Springs Memorial Hospital, a 200-bed, all-private, acute-care facility, is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and certified by the American Heart Association as a "Get With the Guidelines" facility. It is a progressive, community-oriented organization offering such services as 24-hour emergency care, acute care, skilled nursing (14-bed unit), physical and occupational therapy, chemical dependency treatment, heart catheterization, intensive care (10-bed unit), coronary care (10-bed unit), women and children's services and home health and hospice care. The medical staff of over 120 physicians represents 28 specialties, and the facility is conveniently located 30 miles from Charlotte, NC, and three hours from the beaches of South Carolina and the mountains of North Carolina.
