Permanent / Full Time Radiological Specialties Echocardiographer in Medford, OR Permanent / Full Time Days - BLS - Basic Life Support An Echocardiographer performs cardiac ultrasound exams of high clinical and diagnostic quality. Compiles quantitative information for final analysis and interpretation by medical staff physician. This person will also function as a Vascular Technologist and therefore must be a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). This position requires: One year clinical experience with adult TTE (transthoracic echocardiogram) and/or adult TEE (transesophageal echocardiogram). Degree in medical imaging or echocardiography from accredited school with 2 years related training. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); or ARDMS RDCS registry-eligible at time of hire, with successful completion of ARDMS RDCS registry exam within 6 months of hire; or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International). Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by American Heart Association. Ability to solve problems with patient scheduling, exam completion, billing and equipment maintenance / malfunction. Excellent interpersonal skills to represent department to the public, internal customers and co-workers. Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric echo experience. Flexible regarding work schedule. Self-motivated to develop, assist and complete special assignments and projects related to laboratory accreditation. Specialty credentialing in Pediatric Echo. Regular Full Time Employment
