Per Diem / Daily Contracting Radiological Specialties Echocardiographer in Flemington borough, NJ Per Diem / Daily Contracting - Related course work is required - Experience is required JOB SUMMARY Independently performs standard and complex cardiac ultrasound (echocardiogram) studies at rest and exercise. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Skilled in M-Mode, 2D, Doppler and Color flow echocardiograms and assists with transesophageal echocardiograms. Apply and instruct patients on Holter monitoring. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSCompletion of educational program for cardiovascular technology required. MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. REQUIRED LICENSE, REGISTRY OR CERTIFICATION Registered Cardiovascular Technologist preferred. SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES REQUIRED Good communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent skills in cardiac anatomy and physiology and thorough knowledge of Echocardiograph equipment. Part Time, Temp, or Per Diem Employment
