Permanent / Full Time RN Dialysis in Loma Linda, CA Permanent / Full Time Days CA RN license CPR/BLS Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse-DART, is an experienced nurse and clinically competent to provide specialized care and perform highly technical procedures for inpatients and outpatients with complex diagnosis and numerous co-morbidities; utilizes discretion and independent judgment to perform multiple types of specialized procedures and treatments, e.g., adult and pediatric hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continual renal replacement therapy, apheresis, stem cell collection. Applies theoretical concepts to clinical practice and continually expands knowledge base and clinical skills with a focus in area of specialty. Upon arrival to work, receives assignment to designated area of specialty based on patient census and patient need. Demonstrates flexibility and graciously accepts changes in assignments throughout shift. Participates in on-call rotation for all specialty areas served by the DART nurses. Utilizes interpersonal skills to maximize excellence in customer service, safe patient care, and professionalism; contributes to a work environment of caring and cooperation among a culturally diverse workforce and patient population; performs other duties as needed. Job Specifications: Completion of Registered Nursing (RN) program required. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Active California RN License required. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required. Other licensure/certification as specified in the department-specific Plan for Providing Care. Desire 3 years of experience in adult or pediatric hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, stem cell collection, continuous renal replacement therapy, or apheresis. Able to read; write legibly; and speak in English with professional quality; lift 50 pounds to waist. Regular Full Time Employment
