KRC.0308.1806.01 Dentist opportunity with the option of setting-up a private practice or being employed by a community dental clinic. The growth potential and community support for this position is outstanding! The position was created from a bridge program to assist a new dentist to begin a community practice. There is a large service area as many of the dentists in neighboring counties are full and not taking new patients. There is a part-time, experienced dental hygienist with ECP I and II permits that will work with the new dentist and additional dental hygienists may be recruited.
The community will provide a guaranteed salary to serve indigent population and will offer incentives including a building and equipment to help establish a general practice for a three year period. Income potential is $100,000 to $130,000 per year. In addition to the building and equipment incentives, the dentist will be eligible for student loan reimbursement through the National Health Service Corps and state-funded programs.
