A CRNA is needed in Southern Texas for December 3rd-January 3rd, there is the possiblility of extension.
Cases are General, ENT, Ortho, Neuro (Spine only), Vascular, Urology, Neonates (rarely), OB/GYN, no hearts, basic peds, and some regionals. Call is 1:4 or 5 and there is no supervision.

PTO is prorated the first calendar year. After 60 days of employment, employees may utilize their PTO. Covenant Surgery Center outpatient surgery center type cases. 7AM-3PM Monday-Friday. No call, no nights, no weekends, no holidays.
Lakeside Medical Center all surgical specialities represented. 7AM-3PM or 7AM-5PM Monday-Friday, no call, no nights, no weekends, no holidays.

This client is looking for a CRNA that is either looking for locums work or looking for a full time perm job. This is a well established Anes. group in the Houston area. All general Bread and Butter cases. No heads or hearts. Very strong support staff. --They do Cardiac at this facility but if we brought in a locums that cant cover Cardiac they would be fine with that. They will not have anyone start on the Cardiac cases until they have been there for 6 weeks or unless they have a strong Cardiac background. --There are 11 MDs in the group and 6 CRNAs. --8-9 ORs running at a time. --There is always a MD on site supervising the CRNAs. The mix is 1 MD for every 2 CRNA's. --No OB and No Peds. --Majority of patients are Older Adults and The Elderly. --35-40 Minutes Turnaround time. --Typically work Monday Friday 7am-3pm But they do have shifts where they would work 7am-7pm. --Call is only back up call and this would be done only after the CRNA has been working there for at least a month to 6 weeks. Seeking CRNA to work with a surgeon and to replace one of two CRNAs who left recently. The two CRNA positions rotate call every other week. There are 2 General Surgeons, 1 Ob/Gyn, several physicians that do scopes, 2 podiatrists, 1 ophthamologist. The CRNAs do epidurals for OBs. Bylaws require on-call response within 20 minutes for OB and 30 minutes for surgery. CRNAs work under the supervision of the surgeon.
Excellent recruitment package! Minimun annual income of $170,000, (W-2); hospital employed. Interview expenses will be paid. Other benefits negotiable.
