Location - Illinois (Great community close to Peoria and the Quad Cities - excellent quality of life.)
Busy general Medica/Surgical Hospital seeking CRNA for Chief CRNA position; will oversee 5 additional hospital employed CRNAs; supervised by MDA. There are approximately 36,000 surgery cases per year and about 360 OB deliveries per year. Hospital has 180 beds and a service area of 135,000.
$200,000 salary Malpractice paid; $1mil/$3mil Medical and disability insurance paid Retirement plan paid Interview expenses paid Call is 1:6 with day off after call
Duties may include: Major vascular anesthesia Obstetric anesthesia Pediatric anesthesia Trauma anesthesia Anesthesia for outpatient surgery Administrative/Leadership duties Will administer spinal anesthesia Will insert Central Venous catheters, arterial catheters, and lumbar epidural catheters Will administer other regional anesthesia blocks as needed

This opportunity will be for General Anesthesia working bread and butter cases. You would be working in the hospital and at the outpatient suite operated by the hospital.
