Essentially you will work minimal hours doing Bread & Butter surgery, some Urology, ENT and Ophthalmology, little Trauma and no Cranial or Cardiovascular cases. Busy general Medica/Surgical Hospital seeking CRNA for Chief CRNA position; will oversee 5 additional hospital employed CRNAs; supervised by MDA. There are approximately 36,000 surgery cases per year and about 360 OB deliveries per year. Hospital has 180 beds and a service area of 135,000.
$200,000 salary Malpractice paid; $1mil/$3mil Medical and disability insurance paid Retirement plan paid Interview expenses paid Call is 1:6 with day off after call
Duties may include: Major vascular anesthesia Obstetric anesthesia Pediatric anesthesia Trauma anesthesia Anesthesia for outpatient surgery Administrative/Leadership duties Will administer spinal anesthesia Will insert Central Venous catheters, arterial catheters, and lumbar epidural catheters Will administer other regional anesthesia blocks as needed
