Per Diem / Daily Contracting RN Neonatal (NICU) in Grand Forks, ND Per Diem / Daily Contracting Rotating - Refer to Job Summary for Qualifications The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, supervising and documenting the care of patients in accordance with the standards. In addition, this position provides patient/family teaching and coordination of care plans with other hospital departments as well as external resources and agencies. The Registered Nurse is responsible for their own professional growth and to support the organizations nursing philosophy and commitment to patient care. The Registered Nurse provides care to patients in the following age groups: infants, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Requirements: Licensure required by North Dakota Board of Nursing. Preferred: One year of experience in a hospital setting. Part Time, Temp, or Per Diem Employment

Permanent / Full Time RN Neonatal (NICU) in Grand Forks, ND Permanent / Full Time Nights - Refer to Job Summary for Qualifications The Registered Nurse performs and documents assessments; ensures health history is completed; individualizes patient care guideline on admission and as needed; identifies discharge planning/education needs and plans to meet those needs; provides patient care; administers medication; performs pain assessment and takes appropriate action; identifies significant changes or high risk situations in patients condition; provides patient/patient family with appropriate education; ensures that intervention or referrals are made; evaluates and documents patient/patients family response to treatment, education and progress; completes all documentation; performs and/or assists with procedures; participates with multidisciplinary team; communicates patient progress; assists with coordination and preparation of transfer or transport; assists with the discharge process and functions as a transport team member. Patients cared for include infants, children, adolescents and adults. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED: Required: Registered Nurse. Licensed by the North Dakota Board of Nursing (if a resident of North Dakota or changing residence for longer than 30 days) or licensed by a member of the Compact State Agreement if not a North Dakota resident. (If changing residence from a Compact State to North Dakota, will need to obtain a North Dakota license within 30 working days of obtaining new residency.) Nurses who provide nursing care to patients calling from Minnesota will need to be licensed by the Minnesota Board of Nursing or will obtain their Minnesota license within eight (8) weeks from their first day of work (telephone calls from patients calling from Minnesota can not be taken from any nurse unless they have obtained their Minnesota license). Preferred: Experience in a hospital setting. Regular Full Time Employment
