Per Diem / Daily Contracting RN Neonatal (NICU) in Lincoln, NE Per Diem / Daily Contracting Rotating The Childbirth RN performs therapeutic nursing interventions consistent with the Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby/Post Partum, and Nursery units. For Labor & Delivery this includes the management and care of normal and at-risk maternal patients during labor, birth, recovery and the initial postpartum period for patients. For Mother-Baby/Postpartum this includes the assessment and care of the postpartum patient and their normal/stable newborn. For Nursery this includes the assessment and care of the normal/stable and unstable/compromised neonate. The Registered Nurse is responsible for meeting patients' priority needs by assessing, participating in interdisciplinary care planning, providing and/or delegating care and evaluating patients' responses and progress toward clinical outcomes. The RN contributes to an efficient and effective work environment through activities including professional communication and documentation, preceptoring and/or resourcing of others. Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required and current RN licensure from the state of NE or approved compact state required. Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Postpartum experience preferred. Part Time, Temp, or Per Diem Employment
