Permanent / Full Time RN ICU - Neurology ICU in Lincoln, NE Permanent / Full Time Nights The Neurosciences RN manages the care of patients with conditions common to the neurosciences unit which may include: pre-op/post-op neurosurgical patients; patients with neurological impairments/multisystem failure; and trauma patients. Provides direct care to approximately 3-5 patients, and manages a caseload of approximately 8 patients based upon patient acuity, needs and the qualifications and competencies of nursing personnel available. The Registered Nurse is responsible for meeting patients' priority needs by assessing, participating in interdisciplinary care planning, providing and/or delegating care and evaluating patients' responses and progress toward clinical outcomes. The RN contributes to an efficient and effective work environment through activities including professional communication and documentation, preceptoring and/or resourcing of others. Requirements: Current RN licensure from the state of NE or approved compact state. Must provide evidence of certification and/or instruction for practice area as required by State or Federal standards/regulations. Regular Full Time Employment
