Permanent / Full Time RN ICU - Critical Care / Intensive Care (ICU) in La Crosse, WI Permanent / Full Time Medical Degree The Department of Pediatrics at Gundersen Lutheran is seeking a 1.0 FTE physician to staff the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit as well as work in a specialty area such as pediatric anesthesia, pulmonology or pediatric inpatient hospital service. Board certification in pediatric critical care is preferred, but certification in another specialty area (eg, pediatric anesthesia or pulmonology) is acceptable. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with two other board-certified critical care physicians as well as pediatric hospitalists. The Department of Pediatrics consists of 14 general pediatricians, a variety of pediatric specialists and 13 associate staff. Our pediatric specialty areas include allergy/asthma/immunology, behavioral health, cardiology, dentistry, developmental and behavioral, genetics, hematology/oncology, neonatology, nephrology, surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, ophthalmology, and orthopaedic surgery. Pediatric inpatients are cared for on a 19 bed inpatient ward, 8+ bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and 4 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Regular Full Time Employment

Per Diem / Daily Contracting RN ICU - Critical Care / Intensive Care (ICU) in Marinette, WI Per Diem / Daily Contracting Variable hours, shifts, days, and weekends. CVIS: Cardiovascular Interventional Suite Qualifications:Current registration in the State of Wisconsin. Recent (within 2 years) Critical Care, Cath Lab, ED experience required. ACLS and BLS required. PALS certification within 6 months of hire. Responsibilities:Supports and adheres to the Mission, Vision, and Values of Bay Area Medical Center. Participates in the Cardiac Cath Lab/CVISs daily clinical operations. In addition to providing patient care, assists in the development of new policies, procedures and the annual budget. Assists the Director of Critical Care and the Human Resources Department in interviewing, evaluation and hiring of new staff. Assists in coordinating an efficient daily operation and patient flow of the Cath Lab. Collaborates with radiology services to insure radiation safety and to meet all state, local and federal requirements for x-ray equipment. Insure lab is adequately stocked, clean and all equipment is functional. Assist on procedures, i.e. scrub, monitor, and circulate.Delegate duties as necessary and oversee completion in a timely manner. Provides input in the annual evaluation of Cath Lab staff in conjunction with the Director of Critical Care. Will insure competency of staff by assisting in training on specific equipment or procedures when indicated by competency forms or performance. Assist in development of new polices and procedures for the Cath Lab/CVIS. Evaluate new equipment under consideration for purchase. Communicates pertinent information regarding patient, physician, personnel concerns and department activities to director. Participates in process improvement plan and implementation. Function as a role model for Cath Lab staff and serve as a resource by seeking continuing education in the cardiovascular field and attending mandatory in-services. Floats throughout hospital as delegated where skills are needed. Mostly day job flexibility essential. Future potential for on-call. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Critical Care.
