Permanent / Full Time RN Pediatric ICU (PICU) in Phoenix, AZ Permanent / Full Time Nights St. Josephs has opened a new intensive care unit that will be strictly dedicated to caring for congenital heart patients. Because these patients often require multiple hospital visits and surgeries, the new Pediatric Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (Pediatric CTICU) will be devoted to caring for congenital heart patients throughout their stay at the hospital. Believed to be the first unit of its kind in the country, patients will stay in the unit from the time they are admitted until the time they are discharged. The Pediatric CTICUs mission is to provide the best medical care for children with congenital heart disease by incorporating the principles of continuity of care, dedicated specialized care, family-centered care and patient safety. The new 24-bed unit will contain state-of-the-art medical equipment in a family friendly atmosphere. It features all private rooms, a family lounge, child life center, multi-media conference room, three nurses stations and several other amenities. It will be staffed by 42 specially trained nurses, five cardiac intensivists, five pediatric cardiologists and two surgeons. Congenital heart patients from infants to adolescents to young adults will receive care here. Join us now as we are seeking a clinical supervisor coordinates and supervises patient care employees; directs functioning of assigned units; acts as liaison with physicians, patients, families, and staff. Responsible for daily operation activities. Assists in planning, implementing and evaluating hospital and/or unit objectives, standards and policies pertaining to activities of nursing personnel, budget, and materials/supplies. Schedules personnel and makes patient assignments. Supervises and assists staff with work assignments and ensures timeliness and quality of service. Responds to staff needs and provides appropriate problem resolution interventions. Assists with employee hiring, training and ongoing evaluation functions. Re-enforces training and assists with disciplinary actions when necessary. Functions as inter-departmental liaison. Permanent / Full Time RN ICU - Cardiac (CICU) in Phoenix, AZ Permanent / Full Time Nights Provides professional skilled nursing care for critical care, med/surg, adolescents, maternal/child or geriatric patients in collaboration with physicians and other disciplines. Performs all aspects of patient care, including but not limited to: patient assessment, medication administration, identifying nursing problems, plans care, provides or delegates care according to MIHS policies, functions as a client advocate and educator, completes and processes all required documentation, supervises ancillary personnel as directed, participates in team building and quality improvement activities. Qualifications: Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing, preferably BSN. Must posses a valid AZ RN license and be in good standing. BLS certification is required. ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification may be required. Ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must. Bilingual is preferred. Must have excellent communication, time management and customer service skills. Computer knowledge with DOS and windows based systems is a plus. Regular Full Time Employment

Now is the time to JOIN OUR dynamic STAFFING SERVICES DEPARTMENT as we are seeking ICU REGISTERED NURSES (RN) for both our day and night shifts. Whether you pre-book your schedule or do daily scheduling, our Registry RNs are required to sign-up to work a minimum of 3 shifts every two weeks and are paid on a weekly basis. Additional shifts maybe scheduled based on hospital needs. Critical Care Department The Critical Care department at John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital is made up of two unitsthe Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ICU cares for trauma patients brought in through the hospitals Level 1 Trauma Center as well as medical/surgical patients. The CVICU cares for cardiovascular patients including those with MIs, open heart, CHF and medical/surgical patients. The ICU and CVICU are each 22-bed units.
