Permanent / Full Time RN ICU - Cardiovascular (CVICU) / (OHRU) in Petoskey, MI Permanent / Full Time Nights Registered Nurses, this unit is the blueprint for team work. Featuring 40 beds with EKG monitors in each room, it is known for its exceptional patient outcomes. While there are good nurse-to-patient ratios, the reasons for their success go deeper than that. Patient opinion surveys place this group in the 90% percentile for teamwork. Our Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit has cared for over 4000 cardiology patients including PTCA, stents, and bi-ventricular pacemakers. Approximately 300 open heart surgery patients(18-24 hours post-op)are discharged from this unit. The CVU also specializes in the care of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies. We strive to remain a leader in the industry. Our NISUS research department manages many national clinical trials using CVU. Critical thinking skills and a genuine caring for patients and their families are traits of every nurse on this unit. Every member pulls together to provide the same level of care you would provide to your family. Requirements: License to practice nursing in the state of Michigan.
